End of an era

It has been a super fun year. This class has grown so much and I am proud to be a part of that. We have laughed and cried, sang and danced, learned and grow as a class. I am happy that my final memories at Abroad will be the 2018-2019 class. I can't wait to hear what they make of themselves in the future. "Keep on livin, L-I-V-I-N" class of 2019!
From beginning to end

Let's rock out tomorrow!

Weekly Highlights - March 8

One down and one more to go! After eleven months together in Pre-K everyone is almost ready to move on. This week we had our only YEP practice at the venue, started reviewing what we've learned, and began wrapping up our last PYP unit. Here are a few of the highlights...

Rehearsal
We have been practicing for YEP for a while now but nothing has the impact as the big rehearsal at the YEP venue. Students got a feel for how the day will go and how it all works. They also had an excellent practice performance and took away a few good tips.

Reviews
One of the most useful reviews I've done in pre-k is rotating centers. Each table had a different skill in Literacy from phonics to writing. Students had 10 minutes to play the game or do the exercise.

Gym
This week "Coach Justin" set up a challenging obstacle course to run. After we completed a few rounds there was a "monkey hang" contest.

Have a great weekend and I look forward to completing our journey together next week!
